Meet Joline Pinto Atkins
Writer. Speaker. Actress. Director. It would seem as if Joline just loves telling others what to do. And, to a point, you may be right! Current projects include Director of Artistic Programming for the future Portobello Cultural Life & Arts Center (the ‘Bello – as the cool cats call it) and content creation for several small business clients. Joline is the author of two tell-all memoirs (well, not really, but don’t you wish it were true?): Confessions of a Pastor’s Wife and Thanks, We’ll Call You.
Some call her the Solution Maven, but it’s just that Joline adores connecting people to both products and/or professionals to solve the issue at hand or even encourage collaboration. See her Connector page for suggestions ranging from books & products she uses to local businesses she would encourage you to visit. With her business partner, Cassie Brkich, their event planning business, Underground Events, was chosen as the 2020 Entrepreneur of the Year for the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce.
Known for dropping F-bombs: Fad-Free Fitness & Food Facts (made you look), since 2010, Joline has been committed to coaching simple, sensible, and sustainable fitness solutions. Currently, Joline teaches exclusively online at Recess, with a lineup that has included Hella Reps, ExceLIFT, Strong Nation, P90X LIVE, Tabata HIIT, BARRE-ista, and Walk 20. As a local fitness professional, Joline taught in-person fitness for 8 years at B-Well Fitness Center and penned her weekly column, Shape Up With Jo in the Beaver County Times for 3 years. Accompanying the column, she also wrote and hosted 100 episodes of the web series, “For the Health of It.” It is Joline’s personal mission to help her clients move more days each month than they don’t and to discover peace, hope, & freedom on their health and fitness journey.
“Strong isn’t just muscles, that much I know. I’ve watched you over the years, and so appreciate your willingness to share pieces of yourself with the world. You are a communicator, a coach, and so much more. There are people in my life that help me aspire to better things, habits, and goals. The pandemic has given me time to reflect and to make choices about who enters my sphere. Thank you for being one of the good people I see in the world. Your passion, energy, focus, love for family, search for truth, and honest reflection about what you knew and what you know now are an example I respect.”
