Are your eyes open? Open to the needs around you? I'll admit. My eyes aren't always focused outside of myself. Well . . . wait a minute. I SEE the needs. I have momentary urges to "help" in some way. Family Matters

I've been reading The Attentive Life: Discerning God's Presence in All Things with a few friends this summer. Can you say, "conviction"? As someone who works from home, it is often difficult for me to close up. Completely. Intentional Appointments with Others

Intentional. With a husband, children, home-business, family schedule, and church calendar (my husband is an Associate Pastor), I could easily miss out on actual fellowship if I left it to chance.
