Working Hard? Or Hardly Working?
While the nutrient-rich, “stick to your bones” fuel may take more work such as planning and preparation, a sacrifice of time, and the resolve to choose quality over convenience, scripture states that this hard work is beneficial. Often we fill up on fluff, and then complain of hunger pangs.
Change your diet.
First, fuel your soul with God’s word. For even the smallest nuggets of scripture are hearty and provide true sustenance. Scripture is living. Active. It may take hard work to dine on it daily, but the effort focused on digesting some Hebrews 4:12 (yes, look it up), will ultimately yield meaningful, life-changing, dividends.
