Last summer, I embarked on my first Early to Rise experience.

By the end of the 30 day experience, I was waking at 5:15 AM and writing every morning. EVEN during a trip to Vegas. Winter came, and with it the winter blues. My new habit disappeared. My resolve to rise early reverted back to a late to bed habit with a side of late to rise.

As 2014 has progressed, my purpose as a Beachbody Coach has begun to transform into a deeper desire to work with the whole person – incorporating all aspects of overall personal health. I have learned from my own experience that in order to commit to a fitness program and even nutritional changes, there are often some lifestyle habits that need to be adjusted first. It is one thing to START a fitness challenge – that is actually the easy part. It is in the FINISHING that many get tripped – and usually tripped by personal habits that affect one’s ability to focus on sticking to their goal.

Thus, I am going to be starting a few new groups to tackle a few of these hurdles. Yes, I will continue to offer our highly successful Beachbody Challenge Groups, which focus on fitness and nutrition, but I will also begin offering some new groups to compliment those groups.

I will starting with an area that I need to overhaul for myself.

will be my guide for my next attempt to get back to rising BEFORE my children.

I will be taking the steps WITH you – partnering with you to change my habits before school begins, for I desire to rise, read scripture/personal development and enjoy some crucial quiet “me” time, before the start of my day. Some of you may want to workout that early. Some may just want to sit with a cup of coffee in silence. Perhaps you want to pray. Or journal. Read a cheesy novel. Whatever YOU desire for the mornings is up to you. Whatever the goal, we will all work towards the goal of waking earlier to accomplish our personal goals.
