Top 10 Cuppa Jo Posts of 2014

Kind of silly, I know. For, I wasn't exactly committed to writing in 2014. Which is incredibly sad. This will be rectified in 2015. Even so, here are the top 10 read posts of last year. ("Last year" is so weird to say on day 1 of the New Year. It's not like last year is that far away from . . . right now.) 10. Chalene Johnson brings PiYo to Your Home. PiYo was a huge part of my life this year. The home program is indeed loads of fun. Teaching it LIVE, however, has won my heart. Join [...]

Early to Rise Experience for Moms

Last summer, I embarked on my first Early to Rise experience. By the end of the 30 day experience, I was waking at 5:15 AM and writing every morning. EVEN during a trip to Vegas. Winter came, and with it the winter blues. My new habit disappeared. My resolve to rise early reverted back to a late to bed habit with a side of late to rise. As 2014 has progressed, my purpose as a Beachbody Coach has begun to transform into a deeper desire to work with the whole person - incorporating all aspects of overall personal health. I [...]

A Tale of Two Cyber School Days

All started well. We were muddling through - a few computer glitches ("The screen got all HUGE, how do I make it smaller?"), a few Mommy glitches, ("Oops, those were totally the wrong spelling words. But, um, you got them all right!"), and then the storm hit.

Waking Early for Life?: Early to Rise Day 30

I did it. I reached day 30. How ironic, that on this LAST day of the formal challenge, I rose later than I have every other day. However, taking into account that I didn’t get home until after 1:00 AM and not in bed until 2’ish, I’d say rising at 7:45 was noble indeed. Why did I even get up when I don’t have to leave for church until 10:30? Because I needed to get up. Because there were things I wanted to accomplish. Because I’ve learned that I am better in the early hours of the day when I [...]
