Kind of silly, I know.
For, I wasn’t exactly committed to writing in 2014. Which is incredibly sad. This will be rectified in 2015.
Even so, here are the top 10 read posts of last year. (“Last year” is so weird to say on day 1 of the New Year. It’s not like last year is that far away from . . . right now.)
10. Chalene Johnson brings PiYo to Your Home. PiYo was a huge part of my life this year. The home program is indeed loads of fun. Teaching it LIVE, however, has won my heart. Join us on Tuesdays, 9:30 AM at B-Well Nation, and Wednesdays, 9:30 AM at Sangha Center for Yoga and Wellness.
9. Top Organizational Tools for Home Business. My tools have changed a bit. I no longer use a paper planner for my daily schedule, thanks to Franklin Covey encouraging me to choose either electronic or paper. One. I could only choose one. However, I am in love with Traveler’s Journals, and use one for my master task list. So, I’ve not left paper forever. This year, I’ll be adding Acuity Scheduling in order to schedule calls with my Coaches. And, as for Asana.com? Jury is out. One huge change this year will be my move to Mailchimp, for customer communication and newsletters.
8. True Confessions of a Stressed-Out Beachbody Coach. Apparently, readers like when the Beachbody Coach admits to having issues with the proverbial wagon.
7. Beachbody Coaching: What it’s not. What it is. Get the FACTS. More heart, than facts. Perhaps the title is misleading. But Beachbody is so much more to me than the black & white, nitty-gritty details. Yes, it’s a job, but the majority of us have experienced such delight in this job that I wanted to convey the joy, rather than a laundry list of bullet points.
6. What Depression Looked Like On Me. This was a hard one. Because I just don’t seem like the type to have struggled with depression. But, indeed, S.A.D. played a horrific trick on me last winter. So much so that I am nervous about the effect January and February will have on me this year. While I have put many safeguards in place, February can just be such a pain in the emotional ass, can’t it?
5. Confessions of a Pastor’s Wife: That’s me, Under the Invisibility Cloak. Oh, the life and rambling mind of a Pastor’s wife. I’m just not a very visible Pastor’s wife, in the way many would expect a Pastor’s wife to be visible . . . only, that’s also huge assumption on my part. (I told you there was rambling.)
4. 3 Reasons I’m Moving to a Facebook Page. Just that. 3 reasons why I moved a majority of my FB time over to Fit With Jo. Such engaging content right here. (Rolling my eyes.) Ok, but seriously, for those of us who rely upon social media to promote our businesses, we just can’t risk getting on FB’s bad side. We want to stay in the club.
3. Early to Rise Experience for Moms. I lead a group of women through this book in September. I think, in hindsight, a better first book for anyone attempting to change from Night Owl to Rooster would be the the first installment in the Early to Rise series. I loved the experience so much, that I wrote about it daily! Have I kept up with my early mornings? Yes. And, no. I’m am better than I used to be, but am no where near pulling the 5:00 AM rise and shine.
2. Confessions of a Pastor’s Wife: Depression (it’s not about you). All that needs to be repeated is this: “If you don’t struggle with depression, you won’t know.”
And . . . the most popular post of the year?
1. Why You Want the New 21 Day Fix. The response to this post and to this program does NOT surprise me. 21 Day Fix can just do no wrong. I love talking about it. My customers have had amazing results using this program. Beachbody was so wow’d by the response to 21 Day Fix that they had Autumn Calabrese create an EXTREME version of the treasure, which will debut in February. I can confidently say that 21 Day Fix is a program for everyone. (And, well, it is back on sale this month!)
There you have it!
From these 10, which was your favorite???
